Super-Science

“Super-science” refers to any scientific endeavor that can only be accomplished by a person with a superhuman intellect (a possible product of a mutation in the super-gene).

While super-scientific devices and creations can sometimes be used by people without an active super-gene, the principles underlying super-science are beyond conventional science and physics; they require models and calculations that a normal mind simply cannot fully comprehend. Super-scientists are capable of producing notes that make sense to people without their level of genius, but doing so represents a great deal of effort and requires a lot of conversion and intermediate calculation that many super-scientists find to be anywhere from difficult to tedious; historically, super-scientists have not bothered to make such conversions unless part of their goal was to make it possible for laymen to access and duplicate their results, as was done by super-scientists employed by Exemplar Technologies and Volund Manufacturing International.

Scientists have tried for years in the wake of the Battle of San Diego to decode the schematics and notes left behind by the dead super-scientists, but to no avail.
